Dear Mrs. Valentine, Dan and Margaret, Scott, Dave, and Mark and all your families: I was saddened to see the obituary notice for Don today. Dad and Mom, Tom, and I wish to extend our sincere condolences. I immediately think back all these many years to all the trips I made down Grape...either walking, running or on bike, turning into the Valentines driveway, past the Corvair (...was there one or two???), and to the front door... I don't ever remember a time when I wasn't greeted by that unmistakably and genuinely enthusiastic "Valentine Smile"...regardless of who answered the door. You were/are wonderful friends and incredible people, and you don't have to look much further than your folks to understand why!! Sending you love and a hug. Your friends, the Rays.
