Paula Ruth Anderson, of Mesa, Arizona, passed away September 16, 2016 at the age of 66. She was born August 21, 1950 in Price, Utah to Lincoln Bartley and Edith LaRue [Mauer] Berry. Paula grew up in Tremonton, Utah where she graduated from Bear River High School in 1968. Throughout her life she enjoyed gardening and growing beautiful sunflowers, making beaded jewelry for herself and her family, and watching her beloved Denver Broncos. What brought her the most joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. She would love to spoil them with Legos and other gifts. Paula is survived by her husband Al Johnstun; sons, Blue (Jamie) Anderson and Cody (Lori) Anderson; step-children Shannon (Lannie) Deserly, Karrie (Jeremy) Baldenegro, and Joe (Amy) Johnstun; sisters, Laurell Williams and Coreen Berry; brothers Marvin, Darrell, Revis, Cort, Brent and Tyler Berry; her grandchildren, Tara, Abby, Shelby, Kyle, Jessica, Payden, Trevor, Connor, Max, Erin, Courtney, Christian, Caitlyn, Cassandra, and Jerad; as well as many great grandchildren, extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Lynn H. Anderson and her parents, Lincoln and Edith Berry.
A time of visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m., Friday, September 23, 2016 at Blunt Mortuary, 2229 W. Colorado Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado with a Graveside Service to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, 1005 S. Hancock Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado
