Obituary for Nancy J. HAVER
Nancy Jane Edwards Haver, 76, passed in her home on April 22nd. She was born in Asherville Kansas on October 30, 1942 to Loren Edwards and Mary Haines Edwards.
Nancy worked for Safeway for 25+ years in Colorado Springs. She met her husband Robert “Bob” Haver and soon after, married in 1987. Together they lived in Calhan, Colorado on the farm where she enjoyed her animals and the hard-working lifestyle. Later in life you could find her enjoying a good book on her porch or having get-togethers with her extremely wonderful neighbors.
Nancy was a multiple cancer survivor but lost her battle with kidney failure. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all. A special thank you to all the medical staff and drivers that helped care for her these past few years.
She is preceded in death by her Husband Bob, mother and father, sister Judy Knight, niece Susan Scott, and her Daughter Mary “Kathi” Edwards.
Survived by her 4 grandsons, Tim (Sammi) & Matt Hoehn; Drew Cowen and Ben Haver. Great-granddaughter Hazel Hope; nieces Carol (Bobby) Wells and Debi. Her cousin Glenice (John) Emmot; stepdaughters Sherry (Jon) Fuqua and Brenda (Don) Cowen; stepson David Haver, and sister-in-law Dorothy (Ed) Patton and several more nieces and nephews.
