Obituary for Benjamin Hey

Benjamin Hey
Benjamin Lester Hey (Jr.) was born and raised in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He died on May 10, 2018 at the Ray Nixon Power Plant in Fountain, Colorado.

Benjamin was the son of Benjamin Lester from Newark, NJ and Elizabeth Hey, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. He obtained his GED through College America then went on to attend PIMA Technical College where he graduated as a veterinary technician.

Benjamin loved to collect and feed bugs. He also liked snakes and tarantulas as well.

Benjamin enjoyed the simple things in life including his grandmother Rosa and his cousin Nena's macaroni and cheese- sharing that dish with everyone was not an option.

Benjamin was preceded in death by his father Benjamin Lester on May 10, 2016.

Benjamin leaves to cherish his memory, his mother Elizabeth Hey, brothers Timothy Lester, Shannon Lester, Louis Lester and his sister Sophia Lester. Grandmother Rose Lester, Grandparents George and Bonnie Hey, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
