Bob Vickerman was born in the family ranch house in the Wet Mountain Valley near Westcliffe, Colorado, to parents Ernest Warren and Louise Emma (Reis) Vickerman. He was the youngest of six children.

Bob grew up working on the Vickerman Hereford Ranch and serviced in the U. S. Air Force.

Bob moved to Colorado Springs and Married Sharon May Lowney on January 19, 1968. Bob and Sharon have lived in Pleasant Valley since 1970. Bob graduated from El Paso Community College. He retired from Colorado Springs Utilities after a 26+ year career in the Electric Transmission and Distribution Division.

Bob loved hunting, fishing, camping and spending time in the mountains.

Bob was preceded in death by brothers Samuel, Lester, William and George. He is survived by his wife Sharon, daughter Paula Lydon (Benjamin), granddaughter Amanda Lydon, sister Ruby Hall and nephew Jay Vickerman.

Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Colorado Springs, Colorado. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
