Louise  Crippen (Race)
Louise was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado to Bill and Pauline Race, and lived on the West side all of her life. She attended Colorado Springs High School.
She married Lawrence (Bob) Crippen on December 14, 1955. Together they had 4 children.
She retired from the Gazette in October 2003.
She loved all kinds of crafting, painting and sewing, but loved her family the most and always put them first. She always opened her home to anyone in need.
She was a long time member of T.O.P.S. in Colorado Springs, and also enjoyed Book Club and many cookie exchanges.
She is survived by her children, Bill (Darla) Crippen, Tim (Becky) Crippen and Tom Crippen, 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are siblings Pauline Caron, Bob Race (Myrna) and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter, Terresa Kuhns, Mom & Dad, and brother-in-law, Bob Caron.
The viewing will be Thursday, December 8, 2016 from 5pm-7pm. Services are on Friday, December 9, 2016 at 10am at Blunt Mortuary, 2229 W. Colorado Avenue.
The family wishes to thank everyone at Forest Ridge Senior Living in Woodland Park, Colorado for their love, care and support these last few weeks.
