The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Doris Newby can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Brittany
Condolence: I wanted to express my sympathies to the Newby family. I know that the Anniversary of your dear loved one, Doris, is coming up, and I wanted to let you know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. The loss of a loved one is one of the most difficult experiences one can endure. However, all hope is not lost. There is a beautiful hope for our dear loved ones found in God's Word, the Bible. John 5:28,29 says, "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." What this can mean for you is a real hope of being reunited with your dear loved ones who have died. As you think about the good memories you've had with Doris, reflect on the wonderful time when you can welcome her back with open arms in a Paradise on earth. (Psalm 37:11)

Condolence From: Brittany
Condolence: Dear Newby family, I'm so sorry for your loss. Please accept my deepest sympathies. Losing a loved one can leave us with a multitude of questions, one of which, "Will I ever see my dead loved one again?" The answer is yes! There is a beautiful hope for the future. John 5:28,29 says, "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." What this can mean for you is a real hope of being reunited with your dead loved ones. There is no better joy to fathom than that of holding a dear loved one in your arms again. At that time we will truly experience the truth of the words "death will be no more." (Revelation 21:4)
