Obituary for Hong LEE
Hong Sik Lee, 69, Retired pastor and founder of one of the first Korean Lutheran Churches (ELCA) in the United States in Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away peacefully at the age of 69 on Saturday night, February 18th. Pastor Lee was surrounded by close friends and family members at Compassus Hospice in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Pastor Lee is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Young Hee, two sons Steve and Paul, and one grandchild, Jasmine. A visitation will be Friday February 24th from 1:00 – 2:00 pm followed immediately by a funeral service at 3:00 pm at Evergreen Funeral Home Chapel, 1830 E. Fountain Blvd., Colorado Springs, CO 80910.
