Elenor Marie Sanders Larson passed away on January 23, 2017 at Peakview Assisted Living and Memory Care in Aurora, Colorado. She was born in Cripple Creek Colorado to Harry and Ruth Sanders on September 1, 1923. She graduated from Cripple Creek High School, and moved with her family to Colorado Springs in 1944. Later in life she moved to Denver Colorado to be close to her daughter and family. She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Marie Hill Lawson, 3 Grandchildren, Heidi (George) Saponas, Cynthia (Emlyn) Williams,
Michael Hill and 5 Great Grandchildren, Nick, Katie, and Christy Saponas and Mitchell (Jordan) Williams and Haley Williams, her brother, Robert (Dorothy) Sanders and many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her brothers Randolph (Shorty) Joplin, Franklin (Bud) Sanders, Harry (Mutt) Sanders, William (Bill) Sanders, and sisters Evelyn (Sis) Garrett, Doris Palmer, Gloria Stevenson, Mary McIntosh. Elenor was employed by the Broadmoor Hotel and Timken Roller Bearings.She loved to crochet, play Bingo and visit Blackhawk Casinos. She will be remembered by all as a kind and fun loving person who will be missed by all.
