Obituary for Logan Earl Woodard

Logan Earl Woodard, 76, died Friday, March 6th, 2015 at his Colorado Springs home. Logan was born January 21, 1939 in Columbus, Texas to Irene Woodard.

Logan attended Columbus High School and later enlisted in the Air Force in 1956. He served his country for 26 years, including two tours in Vietnam. After retiring from the military, he went to work for the post office where he retired in 2001.

On April 29, 1959, he married Lenora McGinnis who preceded him in death in 2012. They had three daughters, LeCrete Woodard, LeTonya Weeden and LaShae Woodard and four grandchildren Shaina Baez, Logan White, Tahj Weeden and Jasmine Weeden.

Logan enjoyed fishing, walking with his dog, Priss, and spending time with his grandchildren. Logan was a long time Dallas Cowboys fan. Logan will always be remembered by his family, friends and neighbors as being a very caring and kind person.

Visitation will be held from 4-6 PM on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at Evergreen Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at Evergreen Funeral Home on Friday, March 13, 2015 at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.

Arrangements are in the care of Evergreen Funeral Home in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
