Bernice Clara Estrada
August 12, 1919 - June 3, 2013


Bernice was born in Yakima, Washington and lived in Hesperia, California before moving to Colorado Springs in 1999 where she lived with her daughter Hope Fonseca and son-in-law Agustin Fonseca. She will be remembered for her sense of humor, beautiful voice, her love of animals, gardening and a handsome face. A special thank you to all her girls for helping to take such wonderful care of her for many years.

Preceeded in death by husbands, Richard Brotzman, Earl Matney, and Ray Estrada, father John Miller, mother Helen Cousineau, step-father Albert Cousineau, brother Louie Cousineau, sister Ann Brown, daughters Hope Fonseca, Linda Garcia and Dixie Gutierrez Shetley, Grandchildren, Mark, Marty and Tony Teresa Garcia.

Survived by sisters, Bea Stamper, Margie Lane, and Marie Ping, son Richard Brotzman, daughters Alberta Brotzman, Sonshine Vicky Wolfe, and Wendy Jones. Grandchildren Melody Stone, Tim Fonseca, David Fonseca, Shelly Johnson, Roland Brotzman, Stephanie Ward, Troy and April Gutierrez, Dwayne Brotzman, Rhonda Le, Amber Brown, Isaac, Rebekah, and Joshua Wolfe, Eric and Nathan Bouvet, and Madison Jones, forty great-grandchildren and ten great-great grandchildren.

The viewing will be from 9am -11am, Monday, June 10, 2013 at Blunt Mortuary, 2229 W. Colorado Ave., Colorado Springs, Colorado. Graveside service to follow at Fairview Cemetery.
